I am off to Paris soon with some of my friends (and our school) for a 5 day sightseeing and recreational trip. Because we are only going for 5 days I do have to pack (fairly) light, and so can only pack my bare essentials when it comes to make-up. These products would make up an everyday spring time look, and nothing is too out there as, although it is a recreational trip, I am going to Paris with my school so I do need to still look pretty natural.

Face:
For my face I will be keeping it nice and simple, but I don't like too much on my face normally anyway and always stick to natural blushes and light coverage foundations. I am bringing my Balance Me Balancing Face Moisturiser for normal to combination skin to moisturise in the morning as I like the way this sits on the skin. I got this free with a magazine a little while ago so it is a handy size for travelling as it is only 20ml. I have packed two primers; the Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer and the Benefit 'That Gal' Brightening Primer, both in travel sized tubes. The Smashbox primer is the best I have ever found for making sure make-up stays in place all day (even for oily skin!), and 'That Gal' is great for brightening under the eyes. For the base I have packed a sample of the Smashbox Photo Ready BB Cream in Fair which I am really loving. I use this with a bit of concealer when I want a 'no make-up' make-up look, and will be wearing it for travelling down in the train on Monday. I have also poured a small amount of my favourite foundation, YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat Foundation in BR10 (full review here) into a sample pot to take with me as it is my all time favourite foundation and I cannot go anywhere without it. For powder I have my trusty Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in 001 Translucent as it is my favourite powder and, as I suffer from an oily T-zone, I never do my make-up without it. For cheeks I haven't bothered with bringing a highlighter and bronzer, and instead have just packed my Natural Collection Blushed Cheeks in Peach Melba which is a really lovely peach/pink blush that looks incredibly natural on the skin. I also am taking my Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Conealer.

Eyes:
For eyes I packed my Smashbox FULL EXPOSURE Mascara sample (you can tell I've been to the Smashox counter recently!), the Collection 2000 Super Size Fat Lash Mascara and the Benefit They're Real! Mascara sample that came free with Elle magazine this month (okay, I know I am a bit of a mascara junkie!). For my lids I have packed the Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer (which isn't very good), the Rimmel Scandaleyes Shadow Stick in Bulletproof Beige (which is very good) and the Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner (read full review here) for cat-eye flicks.

Lips:
For lips I am keeping it simple with the Carmex Cherry Moisturising Lip Balm and the Rimmel Stay Glossy Lip Gloss in Non-Stop Glamour.

That's everything (make-up wise) that I'll be taking on my trip to Paris on Monday. Obviously, I will be buying some Bioderma while I am over there, but comment below any cult beauty products from France you think I should pick up!
