The end of summer is near, and so I thought I would do a little round up of my favourite and most used beauty items. While I could go on and talk about them for ages, instead I will just write something small and link to them if I have a review of them, and if not then I'm sure some of them will creep into my favourites at the end of the year!

Real Techniques Core Collection - My favourite brush brand as they are well made and very affordable, and I use 3 out of the 4 brushes in this set every day! It is a great set for summer as it has a travel case and the brushes are all multi-purpose!

Revlon Lip Butters in Candy Apple and Sorbet - I love the Revlon Lip Butters for summer as they have an amazing colour pay-off but also have a really beautiful glossy sheen.

Naked Basics Palette  - This has been a life saver over the summer; it has a good sized mirror and has my eyebrow shades as well as some really handy matte shades and an inner-corner highlight all in one! This is perfect for travelling with.

Seventeen Gel Eyeliner - I love a good cat eye flick, especially in summer, but I have incredibly oily eyelids so I often find that eyeliner transfers and smudges in the hot weather. This waterproof gel eyeliner was amazing all summer, and for £3.99 you can't really go wrong!

Maybelline 24hr Colour Tattoo in On and On Bronze - There really isn't that much that I need to say about these that hasn't already been said; pigmented, creamy and beautiful, On and On Bronze was my favourite colour for summer as a golden eye really suits a dewy make-up look.

Natural Collection Blush in Peach Melba - For £1.99, this blush is amazing, gives the perfect peachy glow for summer and lasts all day!

Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream in Fair - This was my number one go-to skin product this summer. It had a much creamier and thicker feel than other BB creams, and made my skin look flawless but also let my freckles shine through, and with SPF35 it meant that I didn't have to wear a sun cream as well.

Jo Malone Earl Grey and Cucumber Cologne - This perfume is perfect for summer; it is light and fresh and fruity and wonderfully British.

Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer - I really don't need to say anything about this other than it is small so is easy to carry around, gives great coverage and is a perfect colour match for pale girls!

Rimmel Stay Glossy Lip Gloss in Non-Stop Glamour - A peachy/nude lip is my favourite for summer, and this lip gloss is beautiful and not at all sticky.

Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paint in Blue Grape and Satsuma - The Barry M Gelly nail polishes are great all year round, but their fun and bright colours that came out in June are especially great over summer.

Rimmel Salon Pro Nail Polish in Reggae Splash - That being said, I also love my pastel colours, and so in a close 2nd place for my favourite nail polish of the summer comes Rimmel's Reggae Splash...

Topshop Nail Polish in Parma Violet - But number one has to be Topshop Parma Violet! The colour is so summery and also reminds me of the sweets which I loved as a kid.

Hair Oil (brand unknown, sold at Primark) - I love hair oil, especially when my hair is being exposed to things like chlorine from swimming pools as it helps nourish the hair after I've stripped it of chemicals using a detox shampoo.

Benefit Skin Care range - The entire Benefire skincare range has worked wonders for my skin over the summer, keeping it moisturised and glowing but not at all oily.

Bumble and Bumble Thickening Hairspray - I am in love with this hairspray! I know some people don't like it, but to me it is perfect as it keeps my hair straight or wavy all day (even in the humidity!) but does not make it hard and crunchy.
