It comes to this part of the year again when I look back on some of my most worn/favourite items from this season.

Favourite Items
These have been my two favourite items this autumn/winter. On the left is a pair of patterned tailored trousers from Zara which I picked up back in September for my internship at Storm modelling agency. On the right is a relatively new purchase from Topshop and is a high-neck geo print top. I love both of these items I tend to wear a lot of black over the colder months, and these are colourful patterns that I can pair with an all-black look without appearing too gothic.

Favourite Trend
My favourite trend this past season has definitely been grid print/checked pattern and I have been wearing it non stop. This top, which I picked up from a designer at London Fashion Weekend (at 50% off, thankfully!) is the most beautiful shape - it has a high neck and the back is open down to just under the waist. However, what really makes this top really stunning is that it has a dip back that peplums out across the, erm, bum region which accentuates this area perfectly. The trousers are an oldie and were actually featured in last year's autumn/winter rail round up. They are from Zara and made out of neoprene which makes them incredibly comfortable.

Favourite Colour
I have fallen back in love with the colour pink this season and so it is no surprise to me that both of my most-worn Christmas party items feature a light blush colour. The first is from Topshop and I love it as the slightly high-neck and too-long sleeves give it a real ninty's feel which is very in right now, and the golden sparkle running through keeps it very party appropriate. The second my be my favourite item of the whole rail but unfortunately it doesn't hang well for you to see, and this may be to do with the design. Similar to the grid top above, this blouse also has a high neck and an exposed back, however this time it features two very thing spaghetti straps that cross over in the centre of the top. These straps, I think, give the top a very sexy feel (not a word I would use often to describe my fashion choices), and the faux under-layer of the pink hanging down creates a fun colour-clash.

Favourite Accessory
Having just declared my love for pink and for checked patterns, it should come at no surprise that my favourite winter scarf this year is pink and checked! I received this as a Christmas gift from my Grandma and have honestly not stopped wearing it, and even wear it inside the house because I am so in love with it!

Favourite Footwear
These were originally bought in the sale in Newlook back in summer as a pair of sandals for a holiday abroad with my friend, but they have ended up becoming my favourite alternative to wearing heels, something I don't enjoy and am not very good at. I have already worn these countless times out in the nice weather, to parties and even to my school dance. The blush/nude colour is very elegant and adds to the effect of wearing fancy shoes without wearing a pair of platforms.
