It is time for my favourite time of the year; my make-up round up! For those who don't know, while most bloggers do a monthly 'favourites' post, I don't try enough new things each month to make the review worthwhile for you, so instead I round up all the make-up, fragrance, nail polishes and hair products I have been using over the past 6 months to show you.

For base I have been trying out the L'Oreal True Match foundation. I have to say, the colour match is perfect however I'm not sure how I feel about it just yet; I love the appearance it gives to skin after a few hours but I think it looks a bit liquid-y and streaky when first applied despite extensive buffing into the skin. I also think that this isn't really made for my skin type (combination) as I have to re-powder my oily t-zone frequently. I have been struggling to find a good concealer after trying a few different ones out so I don't have one that I can say I've been using and enjoying. For eyes I have been using my MAC palette a lot (which is finally starting to fill up!). While I haven't really touched those pink shades since summer, I have been using a lot of the darker shades. My favourite has been sumptuous olive, a sheeny green/brown all over the lid and blended up to the crease with a line of black eyeliner and lots of mascara, however I have also been reaching for satin taupe, a shimmery taupe/purple on the lid with blackberry, a matte warm purple in the crease. I usually pair this with a smudged out matte black eye shadow alone the lash-line instead of eye-liner. To school, I have been wearing the Rimmel Scandaleyes Eye Shadow paint in bronze over the lid with a little of MAC charcoal brown in the crease and some mascara. As I mentioned in a previous review, I have moved on from the bold and overly perfect brow look and have been loving the Soap and Glory Brow Archery for a more natural look. On the lips I have been loving a few different looks. As it has been Christmas party season I have been wearing a lot of red lipstick, and my red of choice this year has been from Ted Baker. In the bullet this lipstick almost appears to have brown undertones, and on the lips it is neither cool or warm toned which makes it suit a lot of different looks. Day to day I have fallen in love with the Sephora Matte Lip Creme in marvelous mauve which is the ultimate Kylie Jenner lip colour; it is a matte brown-toned pink that is very comfortable but lasts nearly all day. To school, I have been loving the Sephora Kiss Me Balm in soda pop as a sheer tint of colour that is easy to apply without a mirror. On the nails I have been loving this polish by Calvin Klein. I have loved wearing it with dark colours and think it is a great alternative to red. In winter I tend to style my hair more than I do in summer, and whether it is tight curls, beachy waves or sleek and straight I will always spray some of the Charles Worthington Texture and Bounce Texturing Spray through it.
