Each year Christmas becomes more luxurious, but with that comes a huge expense. As much as I would love the Selfridges Beauty Advent Calendar or the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Book, I cannot ask my family to spend hundreds of pounds on these elaborate items. When I think of who buys me presents each year, I think of three categories; my friends, with whom I have a £15 max secret santa limit; my grandparents/aunties/cousins, who like to buy one gift somewhere around the £20 mark; and my parents, who often spend a little more. I have therefore attempted to cover all of these bases with a realistic gift guide. I also want to quickly state that these gifts are not aimed at everyone - I understand not all teenage girls are interested in beauty or style, but I would be here all day if I attempted to cover everything, and I feel my expertise with gifts lie in these areas, as I am a professional gifter and receiver of these style gifts. You can view my wishlist for this year on the website Wantfeed which I am obsessed with! The website and iphone app is the perfect place to share your Christmas list with family and close friends.

UNDER £15
POM POM KEY RING - Although I admit that I'm not sure which designer first released the pom pom key ring, I have seen them sold by Fendi and Sophie Hulme, so they've got to be cool. This copy is from £3.99 from Newlook and comes in a variety of colours (I'm crushing on the navy and the light gray) and think they are a perfect edition to any handbag. This is an especially good gift for 17 year olds or anyone learning to drive as they look great on car keys.
CHUNKY SLIPPER SOCKS - I recently picked these up for someone (who I hope isn't reading!) as part of her Christmas in a recent Missguided order. I can say from experience that these are amazing quality and look beautiful in person, so for £8.00 they are a total steal. If you wanted to create a slightly bigger gift, this would be perfectly paired with a girly movie, a bar of Green and Blacks and a scented candle (night-in goals).
MINI EYE PALETTE - This is the first make-up item to be included and I am amazed by the price! For £10.00 this eye shadow palette from No.7 comes with eight stunning matte, shimmer and glittery shades in beautiful autumn/winter shades. While I haven't had a chance to see this palette in person, I have one of their single eyes hadows that I got in a free gift and it is honestly one of the best eye shadows I own in terms of colour pigmentation and longevity - it is a shimmery purple/silver and I even prefer it to Satin Taupe by MAC!
GLITTER COLLAR NECKLACE - This necklace features on my own Christmas list this year and I am obsessed with it. This glittery Topshop necklace is the perfect gift for any girl at £12.50 who loves to add some glitz and glamour to an outfit, but this simplistic silhouette makes it great for anyone with a more minimalist style as well.
ALEXA CHUNG 'IT' - This book has featured in the Instagram pictures of many bloggers, but as a genuine fan of Alexa Chung (both her style and her writing) I think this is an amazing coffee table book of any fashion fanatic to dib in and out of for inspiration and a good read. The hardcover of this book is particularly beautiful and is under £15.00 on sale right now at Amazon.

UNDER £30
GLITTER CLUTCH - Clutch bags can be extremely expensive for what they are, and while we may all wish we owned a Whistles Rivington Clutch, Topshop have managed to satisfy our cravings with their clutch offerings this year, and at only £22.00 your purse won't quite feel so light. (I mean, can we talk about how similar this is to this?!)
BLANKET SCARF - With Christmas comes the Christmas cold - a symphony of sniffing, coughing and nose blowing on all public transport and a croaky throat to go with. However, this can be avoided with antibiotics, bed rest and a big blanket scarf to fight off the bad weather. I recently purchased this one for my sister for her birthday and I fell in love with it so much I almost bought myself one; the material is so luxurious for only £22.99 and I was amazed by how huge it was! This gift is perfect for anyone of any age or gender (ignore that it is a woman's scarf) as everyone needs help hiding from the wind this winter.
DECK THE HAULS ADVENT CALENDAR - I am kind of on the fence with beauty advent calendars and wasn't sure if I'd even include them in this gift guide - they are either extremely expensive or don't have very good products inside and so aren't worth the £30-£60 mark that high street calendars tend to be budgeted at. That is until I saw this calendar from Tanya Burr! Celebrity make-up lines are not always something I buy into either, but I'd been interested in Tanya's nail polishes and lashes for a while and had heard amazing things about her cheek palette, so when I saw that she had created a 12 Days of Christmas calendar for £25.00 with some full sized products inside, I was amazed. This has been on special offer at Superdrug for only £15.00 for a few weeks now so is impossible to find online, but if you happen to see this in stores then definitely pick this up. This calendar would be the dream gift for any girl as the products (which include full-sized nail polishes, lashes and tools and miniature lip glosses and eye shadows) are so varied, but would be extra special to any younger girl getting started in make-up or who was a fan of Tanya's youtube channel.
PORTER MAGAZINE - Magazine subscriptions really are the gifts that keep on giving with many lasting all the way till the following Christmas. Porter is a beautiful fashion magazine that is issued every two months but can be quite hard to get a hold of and is extremely pricey if buying individual issues, so would be a very unique and thoughtful gift to anyone interested in luxury fashion. A subscription for one year costs £25.00 and comes with a giftcard to Net-A-Porter, one of the web's best outlets for luxury online shopping.
NARS LIP TRIO - These sets are easily one of my favourite Christmas beauty sets of the year for value for money and presentation. NARS have released two lip sets that include a full sized lipstick, a miniature velvet lip liner and a miniature velvet matte lip pencil (which are some of the most critically acclaimed lip products ever!). This set comes in a beautiful everyday dusty pink brown shade and in a striking blue toned red, and both come in gorgeous limited edition Steven Klein packaging for £29.00.

UNDER £50
MASK MARVELS - Gift sets are a great way to try out a brand that you may not have used before, and the only way to get into Origins is by trying their masks, which are the UK's best sellers. For £30.00 this set includes 4 of their best selling masks in 50ml sample sizes which is great value for money. This set features on my own Christmas list this year as I've wanted to try more from Origins for ages, but could also be a great gift to split up and give to your close girl friends that have different skin types. Buying this set from Origin's own website is great as they offer free delivery, gift wrap, and samples!
PHOTO CALENDAR - As a non-beauty option, this calendar from Social Print Studio is a great alternative for a girl who already has everything or is really picky. This website allows you to print your computer or Instagram pictures into a daily calendar, and you can use the images afterwards as prints to stick up on your wall. Including international shipping this comes to only £35.00 (approximately) and takes 2-3 weeks to arrive, but their customer service team is excellent and super friendly. Last year I interviewed their team for my magazine, which you can read here.
25 DAYS OF BEAUTY WONDERS - This is the second beauty advent calendar to feature on this list, but for £38.00 this option from No.7 is possibly the best value Christmas set of all time, no exaggeration. This kit includes their make-up (which I am a huge fan of), body care, skincare, and beauty tools so you really do get something of everything. I think this is an amazing set for mums/aunties as the No.7 skincare is great for older skin and the make-up colours are neutral and flattering for all ages. However, this is already sold out online and is hard to hunt down in store, so if you manage to stumble across one then definitely pick it up!
NAKED SMOKY - Urban Decay Naked palettes really are the cream of the crop for beauty gifts (I recently gifted one to my close pal and she almost cried). They are universally loved for their high quality and colour range, but there is much debate as to which is the best palette. This year's launch from UD of the new Smoky palette is my favourite of the four as I think you can create the most amount of wearable looks from natural to dramatic with all of the shades. at £38.00 for 12 shadows you're paying a lot less than other high end brands and getting a beautiful gift for any make-up lover.
PATCHWORK STOLE - Nothing screams winter luxury more than faux-fur, and this season has said goodbye to realistic copies and natural tones and has swapped them for loud, proud textures, colours and prints. This oversized stole from ASOS is beautiful and the ideal gift for any fashion fanatic, and if I were to receive this this year I would be extremely happy. This one comes in at £45.00 and is the priciest item in this gift guide, but it something very unique and would work every autumn/winter season.
